At Wheaton Press, we know that there are many decisions that you need to make right now to lead your schools through the current health crisis, and we want to help stand alongside you during this time. 

We want to offer any Christian school the immediate full use of our LMS platform for any of your courses or disciplines for not cost if you need to make the difficult decision to close your campus during the Corona Virus. 

God has blessed us with access to an LMS that would allow you and your school to offer your students the opportunity to work from home. 

We are committed to standing alongside of you to equip a generation to reflect Christ in their circles of influence, and we know that for some schools the idea of needing to go 1:1 and offer classes online seems impossible and is most certainly unbudgeted.

If you find yourself in the difficult position of figuring out how you can close your campus but still teach your students, then this is a high quality and no cost solution for you to keep the doors of your school open, your students learning and everyone home safe. 

Wheaton Press uses our own version of the Canvas LMS platform to host our Bible courses for schools around the world. 

We are offering free use of that platform to host ANY of your courses from ANY discipline math, science, history, and Bible (even it if is not one of our courses) during the time that your campus may need to close during the Corona Virus. 

This will allow your school to "stay open" even if it means that you need to close during this time. 

We have training videos that will prep you and your team for how to utilize the platform.

For example, here are two videos. The first is an introduction to the LMS and the second demonstrates how to customize your personal account. 

 What we are offering:

• A top of the line learning platform for you to offer your teachers, students, and families for no cost during this crisis.
• Each of your teachers and classes having the opportunity to set up a private online class with your own content for the time that you would be working from home.
• This includes media, online assignments, online discussion boards and messaging, the opportunity for online lessons and lectures, and full access to all of the features that the platform offers.

To get started:

• We would need the name of each class that you would want to host.
• We would need the name and school email address of the teacher for each course. This is so that each teacher can have a customized online classroom (see the video for futher explanation). 
• We would need a full list of the names and school emails of all of your students. This is not to build our email list, but to be able to set up your school so that each of your students gets a personalized log-in and password.  

 I believe that God has placed these resources in our hands to serve schools "for such a time as this."

Personal Thoughts from our President

Wheaton Press exists to train teachers to equip student to reflect Christ. For the past few years, I've wrestled through some health issues that, in my wildest dreams, I could never have imagined.

During that seemingly impossible season, God was gracious and used the hands and feet of so many others during a time of personal crisis. 

It would be our privilege to stand with you through this crisis.
