Attention all rowers, ONLY those that competed in the fall regattas are required to meet Saturday 10:00am  at PRRA to winterize the boats and put away for storage. Sorry for any confusion on attendance.

Novice Meeting Info - Useful Info for ALL

For all novice and 8th grade parents that missed out meeting on Thursday, and for all rowers returning for pre-winter training and plan to try-out for the team, please find what we covered and additional information for the upcoming season attached below as it contains a lot of useful information.

Winter Training
  • For those of you participating in pre-winter training that starts Monday November 13, time 5:30-730 (pending approval), please bring a check made out to Ridgewood Crew for $300, and the liability waiver required - attached below. There is no sign up for the training, and you may train 3, 4 or 5 days a week, your choice.  It is highly recommended to participate in the pre-winter training if you are not involved in a winter sport. 
  • Training will be offered Monday through Friday and is not mandatory, but highly recommended for rowers trying out for the team in January.  Workouts will consist of ERG training, weight-lifting, and cardio conditioning at the high school. 

8th Grade Training
  • will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4:30 - 5:30, although we are waiting for exact time confirmations from the athletic department.  We will confirm with all when we receive our slots.

   Please bring a check made out to Ridgewood Crew for $200 on the first day of training along with the liability waiver - attached below.

Team Try-Outs

Tentative try-outs for the 2018 team will be January 8 and 9.  Details coming....

It’s that time again!  Crew Online Apparel Store is up and running for your ordering.  The rowers can always use more sporty gear in their wardrobe or start your holiday gift buying early.

Ridgewood Crew is happy to offer Grocery Gift Cards as well as Holiday Gift Cards.

For the Grocery Gift Cards, the participating grocery stores are, Kings, ShopRite, Stop & Shop, and Whole Foods. The Grocery Cards come in $100 increments and Ridgewood Crew receives 5% back!

For the Holiday gift Cards, there are many stores to choose from with the percentage coming back to Ridgewood Crew as high as 15 % for some stores! Purchase them for yourself or with the Holidays approaching, why not give them as gifts or even shop with them!!

All cards work like a debit card so you don’t have to spend the entire card in one visit to the store and the cards have no expiration date. The best part is you get to spend the full amount of the card while the companies donate the percentage to Ridgewood Crew. If every family purchased just two cards a month, Ridgewood crew could garner as much as $5000.00 by years end. It is great to earn money for items that we all need to buy anyway.
