Pavion’s four-acre site, located conveniently several blocks from Main Street and Broadway shopping, is bound by Cedar Hill Avenue to the south, South Franklin Street to the west, and Hudson Avenue to the north. The site will be transformed into a green residential complex composed of traditional flats, townhomes, and private drives with garages. Green infrastructure design practices used throughout the Pavion development will include green roofs, porous paving and rain gardens. The Nyack Brook, now buried under the property, will be exposed to allow for the stream to meander through the complex gardened areas. Franklin Street to the west will be widened to expand street parking and to incorporate a new bicycle lane connected to the Esposito nature trail in South Nyack. | |
