BASEBALL IS BACK! PVSD Opening Weekend at the SF Giants Sunday April 10th
Have you heard the news? The MLB strike is over and Baseball is BACK! PV PTO is hosting a community building event for the families and faculty of our schools on Sunday April 10th at 1:05pm at Giants Stadium in SF (Oracle Park)! The San Francisco Giants face off against the Miami Marlins at 1:05 PM. A special section has been reserved on Giants' opening weekend for the families and faculty of PVSD – including Ormondale, Corte Madera and the school district offices.
The Left field bleachers of the ballpark are known as the "Fan Zone" and have entertainment options for the kids to get up during the game to go on the slide or see the aquarium, etc. Also kids can jump between seats and mingle in the bleachers (We will be in Section 139), so a really fun experience for the kids. These tickets are UNDER RETAIL VALUE at $20 each with $5 from each ticket going to the PTO. It’s also “Little League Day” at the Ballpark, so the day is geared towards kids. Get your seats early so you can choose where you want to sit and tell your friends, neighbors, teammates to join you - act fast as there are limited seats available. Support your PV PTO and purchase your tickets today! https://fevo.me/pvsd

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
While this week was all about showing gratitude for our teachers and staff who make CMS a great place for our kids, there are a few parent volunteers who also deserve some thanks.
Big thanks to the 4th grade and 5th grade room parents for making their room teachers feel special this week!
Many thanks to Sarah King, Kit Antovich, Michelle Gilman Jasen, Leigh Pyle, Aimee Blum, Kim Cashin, Amanda Smoot, Linda Kamran, Moonyi Satusky, Camilla Eckstein, Julie Harding, Claire Selden, Dimitra Tzimopoulou, Renae Killen, Anngi Strick, Sangini Bedner, and Brook Coffee for lending their time, effort and expertise to add a little extra awesome to the events this week.
Finally, a huge thank you to Lalanie Robins and Heather Milotich for their amazing job as Staff Appreciation Week Chairs. This week would not have been the success that it was without all of their ideas, efforts, and enthusiasm to make it as special as possible for our teachers and staff.

CMS Holi Bhangra Assembly
Wednesday, March 16th was an awesome assembly for CMS kids, sponsored by the PTO. It was a beautiful morning for our first live assembly in over two years with bright sunshine and and first time use of the newly renovated outdoor amphitheater (thanks to Eagle Scout James Gillbrand).
The theme was for Holi, the Indian festival of Spring and all things joyful. With that spirit of renewal, celebration and color, the Bhangra team from University of Berkeley dazzled the kids with their dance performance. The kids then enthusiastically participated in the live instruction at the end, making it a super fun learning and entertaining experience!
Thank you to Sangini Bedner for organizing this fabulous assembly!
