​ MAY NEWSLETTER 2019 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Grace F. Grace has danced at Allegro for 14 years, growing and learning many life skills. She said that dancing here has taught her to be more open minded about different genres of dance, and as a result, she will carry this attitude of open mindedness with her to college where she will be able to apply it in many different situations. Her two favorite memories of Allegro are being in class with her friends, and "seeing the kids faces light up" when she worked as a Student Assistant. Grace's favorite production and role were as a Party Boy in The Nutcracker. This fall she will begin her studies at RCTC on the "path to purple" with her credits transferring to Winona State University where she will complete her degree in early childhood education. We have no doubts that she will be successful in her future, as she is the valedictorian of her grade! Congratulations, Grace! We know there will be many faces lighting up with joy in your classroom! Eleven-year-old Amelia was nominated by Miss Kathy, Miss Nikki, and Miss Laura for her great attitude and wonderful work ethic. Although Amelia will miss the Spring Dance Concert this year due to a family wedding, that has not deterred her from fully participating in every class. When her classmates are missing, she knows their part and is able to fill in for them. Her teachers also commented that Amelia is kind to her classmates and Performance Company teammates. One teacher noted, "I've caught her encouraging others throughout the year! She is such a joy to have in class." Congratulations, Amelia!
