Pathways Rhythms January 2021 Go into yourself and see how deep the place is from which your life flows ~ Rainer Maria Rilke Candlemas and Crepes Tuesday, February 2 7pm The celebration of Candlemas on the 40th day of the Christmas/Epiphany season, originated in the late fifth century as a day of light and hope. In some parts of Europe, such as France, people prepare and cook crepes to celebrate Candlemas. On Tuesday, February 2, 7pm, you are invited to our Candlemas and Crepes Celebration on Zoom. In this simple service of light and blessing, the candles to be used this year at Pathways Retreat will be blessed. You are welcome to gather your own candles to be blessed as well. Here’s a recipe for crepes . for you to enjoy before or after the celebration. Personal Retreats The practice of regular personal retreats is life-changing for this Pathways’ guest. Rhythm of Prayer Following a holiday break, Monday – Thursday prayers have resumed on Zoom and Friday’s Creation Prayer on-site.
