This gathering will be a short 30 min 'Service of the Word.' A quiet, traditional service with a liturgical structure to centre our thoughts and hearts on God's word.
The safety of everyone entering the building is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, some COVID-19 precautions have been put in place and we ask everyone attending the service to please comply with these precautions to best ensure the safety of everyone at the church.
There will be a limit to the number of people who can enter the church building so if you would like to attend this service on the 6th September please contact our operations manager Lucas on [email protected] who will inform you of the safety precautions we have put in place.

We will review services after 2nd August and decide at the end of August whether we can proceed with live services in September depending on Coronavirus infection levels, NHS and government advice and our own experience of opening up the church.
Please note that Jeremy is on annual leave from Monday 3rd August to Sunday 16th August

Thank you for your financial gifts to the mission and ministry of the All Saints family. We really appreciate all the regular support we receive through PGS and standing orders, as well as the one off donations received over this time. It has been a great blessing.
As you all know, the church has been unable to generate any income during the Coronavirus outbreak. Our outgoings have remained the same however. At the beginning of this year, we had £34,220 in our account, which is equivalent to 6 month's costs. The current projection for the end of this year is that we will be left with enough money to pay just under two month's costs, £7,345. We urgently need to generate further funds in order to pay for these costs.

Find simple ways to help deal with loneliness and isolation.
- Pray. Light a candle, if safe, and pray for hope, faith and strength to keep loving and caring for each other during this time of struggle.
-
Talk about how you feel. This may be difficult if you are self-isolating, but do use the telephone, internet, and social media. If you need to contact a counsellor this can be arranged by your GP, or via local agencies, or privately. The Samaritans are there 24 hours a day, every day, and it’s free to call them on 116 123.
- Focus on the things that you can change, not on the things you can’t.
-
Look after yourself - physically, emotionally, spiritually. Plan in things that you enjoy at regular intervals during the day – a TV programme, a phone call, a book, a favourite dish, a game.
-
Look after others. Even if only in small ways, but do what you can: a smile, a kind word, writing a letter or an email.

Social distancing:
what you need to do
| |
To stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), you should try to avoid close contact with anyone you do not live with. This is called social distancing.
How to avoid spreading the infection
It's very important to do what you can to reduce the risk of you and other people getting ill with coronavirus.
You can spread the virus even if you do not have symptoms.
Face coverings
Wear something that covers your nose and mouth:
- on public transport
- when you go to hospital appointments or visit someone in hospital
If you can, also wear a face covering in other places when it's hard to stay away from people, such as in shops.
Face coverings should not be worn by children under 3 and people who would find wearing them difficult (such as people with breathing difficulties).
To find out who needs to wear a face covering on public transport, see safer travel guidance for passengers on GOV.UK. | |
