One of the questions that I always get asked while providing EMDR trainings is, "Does this work with people who have severe and persistent mental illness?" Here’s an article that suggests that not only does EMDR help individuals with severe and persistent mental illness reduce the symptoms of trauma but it also helps them reduce their symptoms of psychosis.
