Read More Rural Community Development (RCD) RCD grant recipient Midwest Assistance Program, Inc. uses RCD funds to implement training and technical assistance services to build technical, managerial, and financial capacity for rural water and wastewater systems in the Midwest. MAP used RCD funding to help the city council in Stockport, Iowa build financial capacity by determining actionable steps for the council to take towards building financial resiliency that would allow the council to provide quality water to the town's 296 residents. Read More Lead and Copper Virtual Training: Rules, Resources, and Funding Midwest Assistance Program, Inc. hosted a virtual online Lead and Copper Workshop in February that had nearly 200 registered attendees. The workshop focused on an overview of the Revised Lead and Copper Rule (LCRR) and the Service Line Inventory requirements. Attendees were provided with tools, resources, and funding available for lead service line replacement. Another virtual workshop is scheduled for May 4th, 2023 from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm CST.
