Chatham-Kent "Spark" Application Deadline Is November 29

Are you based in Chatham-Kent? Have a new tourism idea? We want to hear from you! Submit an application and you could be selected to receive a tourism mentorship and a $3,000 grant. Individuals, small businesses, non-profits, and community groups are all eligible to apply.

Waterfront Category Added For Sarnia-Lambton "Spark" Program

The "Spark" Program was recently launched in Lambton County, and for the first time, an applications category has been added to generate new tourism ideas around a specific subject. We are looking for tourism experiences, services, products and events that enhance, activate and promote Sarnia-Lambton's Great Lakes Waterfront Trail​ and the region's extensive shorelines. Applications are being accepted until January 15.

Bruce County "Spark" Winners Announced!

The top 5 finalists in Bruce County pitched their new sustainable tourism ideas for the Bruce Peninsula to a panel of judges at an event on November 5, with 3 being selected to receive a $3,000 grant and tourism mentorship. The winners are:
- Barbara Canning, Wild By Nature Forest Therapy
- Graham Thomas, EcoAdventures
- Kat McNichol, Dreamers Writing Farm

Northeastern Ontario "Spark" Winners Announced!

Just in! The winners of the Northeastern Ontario "Spark" Pitch Session were also recently announced:
- Emma Jones, Off The Beaten Track
- Sylvie Lamothe, Rebel Soul Tribe
- Alexandre Gagnon, Timmins Fitness Alternatives
The Lab and its regional partners will be matching each with tourism mentor and providing a $3,000 start-up grant to support their development activities. Stay tuned for updates on their progress.
