I entered the world of Financial Services at the beginning of 2018 providing my family, friends and the community with the correct type of life insurance as well as helping with investments to ensure people have the amount of money they want for the things they need in the future.Â
I mainly entered this industry to correct an injustice that has been happening for decades at the cost of our hard-earned money that supposed to be for us and our families lives, not the financial gain of these so-called life insurance companies.Â
I never thought I would find something else in life that I would be passionate about like I am with my OOAK sculpting! Now that I have another passion I almost feel like Im cheating because many people never end up finding a single one. I'm incredibly grateful! On the other hand I have had to sacrifice some things (sculpting as much as I used to) in the beginning for this new venture to be strong enough to where I won't have to work at it as often and it will allow me the luxury of once again devoting much more time to my sculpting.  Small initial sacrifice for a big payoff down the line. It's worth it!

After you cure your piece, and after every cure after that, make sure you leave it alone; don't uncover it, don't remove the cover to the convection over or open the oven door. Leave everything as it is. Let it cool completely on it's own. It might take an hour or so but let it happen. preventing these cracks is so worth it.
Man, these show themes are just out-right exciting. I want to participate in all of them. The themes just keep getting more creative and interesting. Now I'm obviously going to try to enter some of these but the time currently needed in my financial services business will have to take priority so we'll see how things pan out. In the meantime the sculptures that have been on the back-burner are still there...
Many if not all of you already know that I will be attending yet another LIVE Deb Wood sculpting retreat in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, in the gorgeous home of Adele Sciortino in April 2018!Â
My goodness is it always amazing, memorable times. I've never before sculpted a Steampunk piece so this should be fun as it will be a first for me.
Wanna know what it's like to attend one of Deb & Adele's live classes? Check this out -Â
