The 3rd fee installment is due on March 15. Please submit your check (payable to Ridgewood Crew Foundation) to Andy Hoy; 695 Wall St; Ridgewood, NJ. You may also pay via PayPal (2.2% fee must be added - $919.80) or Venmo - both are 'Ridgewood Crew'

Water Practice

RHS Team:   Water practice begins on Saturday, March 7. Please consult InstaTeam for the schedule. For Tuesday - Friday practice, the bus leaves on Brookside Ave at 3:15pm. If you are running late - let someone know! If you miss the bus you will need to provide your own transportation to the river. 

Development Team: Water practice begins on Sunday, March 8; 2-4pm. 

Launch Driver Class

Saturday, March 7 from 10 - 11:30am the Schuylkill Navy will be hosting a Launch Driver Class at Bachelors Barge Club, 6 Boathouse Row; Philadelphia, PA. If you are interested please reach out to Judy Wong and register here:  https://forms.gle/UPEVDDWxhQ4pPUsT8

Regatta Mandatory Meeting

The Regatta Meeting will be on Tuesday March 17, 2020 @7:30pm in the Campus Center. 

Zeller Scholarship

Attention Seniors!

Attached is the application for the Ridgewood Crew Zeller Scholarship (two awards - $500/each). Email the completed application to Kelly Aherne at [email protected] no later than April 24, 2020. The scholarship award winners will be announced at the Senior Awards Banquet in early June.

Pasta parties

PASTA PARTY SUPPLY SIGN UP SHEETS ARE NOW UP UNDER EVENTS ON INSTATEAM!
THE DATES ARE 3/28, 4/4 AND 4/18 FROM 6 P.M. TO 8 P.M.
The host house addresses are also indicated there - as well as what is needed.

Parents - please go to the dates and sign up for supplies to be brought to the host homes!

Volunteers

PSRA Regatta Volunteers

As required by PSRA, all teams must volunteer to help at one regatta during the series and during Stotesbury. Ridgewood Crew has been assigned the 4th Manny Flick to help on the docks. 

The following is needed: 1:00-6:00/6:30pm - 5 volunteers. 2 Volunteers at dock behind Temple boathouse and 3 volunteers at the dock beside St Joe's boathouse. Please sign up on InstaTeam by going to the event on April 5. It's a great way to see the regatta and your rower up close and it's quite fun! It usually ends by 4 or 5pm, depending on the schedule (the schedule for the day: boys row in the am and girls are in the pm). We need 5 volunteers to make sure we are in good standing with PSRA.

 RIDGEWOOD CREW ROW-A-THON 


Rowers & Parents - our largest fundraising event is coming on March 22: Ridgewood Crew Row-a-Thon!


All rowers are expected to fund-raise at least $300 for this event. Attached are the letters and forms you will need for the Row-a-Thon. Please do not wait until the last minute to fund-raise. Note these important deadlines:

  • March 15: For corporate sponsor logos and artwork in pdf format to ridgewoodcrewfundraising@gmail.com
  • March 22: Submission of individual and corporate monies. All checks should be payable to: Ridgewood Crew and delivered to Mrs. Carmona at 898 Hillcrest Rd; Ridgewood. 

If you decide to walk around your neighborhood, please read the Recommendation for the Rowers letter first. Any questions, please feel free to contact Susana Carmona at 917-716-7919.
