Go raibh míle maith agat Public Consultation by the Department of Business, Enterprise & Innovation on the European Commission’s proposed Goods Package The Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation (DBEI) is currently inviting submissions on a public consultation on the European Commission’s proposed ‘Goods Package’. The Goods Package features two legislative proposals to make it easier for companies, SMEs in particular, to sell their products across Europe and to strengthen controls to prevent unsafe products from being sold to consumers across Europe. EU’s ‘Consumer Law Ready’ website launched to support SMEs & Businesses Last week the European Union launched their new ‘Consumer Law Ready’ (CLR) website, as part of the Consumer Law Ready project that EUROCHAMBRES is involved in. The CLR website is a key online guide for businesses to access resources to help comply with EU and national consumer law. The website features guides, videos, quizzes and e-tests to help businesses familiarize themselves with various EU consumer legislation. The website and the online training materials are tailored for each county and are available in all EU languages. GPP4Growth aims to support the creation of new opportunities for public authorities to stimulate eco-innovation and green growth. The Department of Communications, Climate Action & Resource Efficiency has informed us of a new survey to examine the factors that influence businesses to participate in green tenders, services and works. The survey is ideal for input from stakeholders who are directly involved in procuring for their organisation or suppliers.
