I hope you're all having a great summer thus far!
I haven't had much time to work on anything for myself, but I have had a few moments here and there during this summer vacation. Summer vacation for me really just means down 1 job for a couple of months, but it also includes all the other appointments I don't have time for during the school year. With any spare time, I have been creating, organizing, and working a bit on some fun stuff for my own genealogy/family history, so some of my blogs this summer may reflect that. :)
July's speaking events had a great turn out! I have a little break from speaking gigs for a bit, in which my next ones won't be until September. One will be a FREE, short, German Heritage presentation for the SCGS German Interest Group, and the other will be for a paid event, the UGA Summit of Excellence 2024, in which I'll present on how to follow clues in your genealogy research. Reminder: There are only a few more months left to get your Genealogy Wish Grants application in; the application period ends November 11.
