SUMINAGASHI  ART AND WINE

Wednesday, March 13    6-7:30 pm

Suminagashi is a very fun and meditative way of marbling paper (making marble-like designs on paper) using an ancient Japanese technique and Sumi-Ink.  Using brushes, special ink is floated on the surface of water creating concentric but random forms. In this workshop you will create beautiful designs on paper that can be used as stationary, envelopes or be mounted as works of art themselves.  This is a fascinating art form and enjoyable for all. No prior art experience necessary!

Space is limited, reservation and prepayment are required
$35, members $30 (materials and refreshments are included)
