| Pathways Rhythms October 2025 Capital Campaign Completion Celebration Pathways Retreat celebrated the completion of the capital campaign on September 7 with a service of gratitude and blessing . Starting at the pavilion, crafted from recycled telephone poles, we walked: to a cozy meeting area amid the American plum trees, to the amazing Tree of Hope sculpture, to the restful hammock “room”, around the newly-planted native prairie, and back to the pavilion. At each stop, words of gratitude and blessing were spoken, and children sprinkled water with arborvitae branches, filling the walk with joy and laughter. Afterward, we gathered around the table, enjoying both the food and the gift of each other’s company. Attendees offered suggestions for the name of the resident owl, hanging from the rafters, who keeps the pavilion bird-free. The winner of the “Name the Owl” contest was Byron Shetler with “Boo-Hoo,” a playful nod to the Spanish word for owl (búho) and the owl’s helpful role. Congratulations Byron!
