We are so excited that when we woke up this morning our email platform was back up and running...hence, why this email is landing in your inbox
today instead of this past Friday. :)  

We wanted to share some insights from our influencers & validators,
as well as, communicate & prioritize the trends we're still tracking that
have relevancy and longevity left for Michaels.

As you review, please keep in mind the lifecycle of a trend and who the
adopters are that inform each source:

2. Early Adopters
3. Early Majority
4. Late Majority
5. Laggards

a trend forecasting, live analytics and design tool resource that discovers trends defined by "innovators & early adopter"

Google: as a trend is approaching Peak , the "early majority" becomes aware & starts searching the trend. At this point, the data starts to show in Google's reports. At Peak, the querie insights reveal lots of validation
and a high search volume.

Pinterest: generally speaking, the Pinterest user falls in the "majority to late majority" category of trend awareness. They are aware of the trends when
they are at peak or post-peak.
