Inner Becoming Newsletter 2023 Wrap Up ✨ To wrap up the end of the year , I decided to share some of the many powerful insights, intentions, quotes, & questions I came across this year. As always, take with you what resonates and let go of the rest! :) On Problems & Solutions... Every solution creates a new problem to be solved. Our feelings are not a problem, they are information. What is not working is guiding you towards what will. Information doesn't heal - acceptance & compassion do. Practice living the questions, not just waiting for the answers. Our current problems are ineffective solutions to another problem. Allow yourself to change your mind once you gather more knowledge. Wouldn't Recommend... Dwelling on actions you didn't take. Putting effort in trying to change others. Overstaying in situations you've outgrown. Not trying something because you haven't done it before. Believing that what you don't have is better than what you do have. Spending your time on activities, people, or situations that drain you. Being attached to any current identities - they become future limitations. Less of This More of That... Less doing, more being. Less forcing, more allowing. Less wanting, more gratitude. Less consuming, more creating. Less commitments, more flowing. Less possessions, more experiences. Quotes to Reflect on "If I am living bravely, my entire life will become a million deaths and rebirths." ~ Glennon Doyle “Not everything is a lesson Ryan, sometimes you just fail" ~ Dwight Schrute "A man who suffers before it is necessary, suffers more than is necessary" - Seneca "The greatest burden a child must bear is the unlived life of its parents." ~ C.G. Jung "I've suffered a great many catastrophes in my life. Most of them never happened." ~ Mark Twain. Questions to Often Ask Oneself What feeds my soul? When do I feel most alive? What am I working towards? What do I want to experience next? What decision will make me more of who I am? How am I benefiting from a situation I say I don’t want? What would I start/stop doing if I had no one to impress and nothing to prove? See You All in The New Year!!! Wishing everyone a year filled with joy, gratitude, wisdom, health, and lovely, meaningful experiences! ❤️ For Psychotherapy and Coaching Inquiries, visit www.innerbecoming.com |
