Scholastic Book Fair March 3-11
The Scholastic Book Fair is back and will be held at Ormondale Friday, March 4- Friday, March 11. Look for ways to support our school libraries with opportunities to shop and volunteer at the Book Fair in the next few weeks.

Portola Valley Schools Day at the SF Giants Sunday April 10th
Kick off the Giants' season by joining your Portola Valley School Community for a fun day of baseball at Oracle Park Sunday, April 10th, when the San Francisco Giants face off against the Miami Marlins at 1:05 PM. A special section has been reserved on Giants' opening weekend for the families and faculty of PVSD – including Ormondale, Corte Madera and the school district offices.

Donate Extra Clothes to Office
The office keeps extra clothes on hand for kids who might need to change during the day. If anyone has lightly used clothes to donate, the office could use:
- Girls leggings sizes 5T-10
- Boys shorts or pants sizes 5T-10
- Girls and boys underwear sizes 5T-10
- Boys and girls socks
No need for tops/t-shirts. Thank you!

STEAM Museum February 24
Students will rotate through the hands-on educational exhibits in their class cohorts. Be sure to ask your child about the exhibits - they may interact with an educational pinball machine, build a bridge, program a robot and more!

Spirit Day: February 14th: Wear Red or Pink
The next CMS Spirit Day is Valentine's Day: Monday, February 14th. Students should wear Red or Pink to earn Spirit Points for their grade.

CMS Kindness Week: Parent Volunteers Needed February 15th- February 17th
We’re excited to announce this opportunity for parents to get back on campus and volunteer! Next week is Kindness Week at Corte Madera School. Todd Patterson is running Kindness Week and organizing 5 stations for the kids to rotate through during lunchtime Tuesday-Thursday, 11:20am-12:40pm.
Parent volunteers are needed to help supervise each station. The stations will be set up in advance and Todd will provide simple instructions to follow when you arrive. This is a fun and easy way to be part of the “feel good” factor of kindness! You are welcome to sign up for as many days as you would like:

CMS Yearbooks
Order your child’s CMS 2021-22 yearbook by going to the Yearbook Order Center (school code 7530). You can order yearbooks, design dedications (called "Ads"), or upload photos (click the "Share images with ESHARE" button) for possible inclusion in the yearbook. Note: starting January 15 Herff Jones will be placing a $3.99 surcharge on all new online CMS Yearbook orders.
