GET READY FOR ORMONDALE'S SCIENCE FAIR AND INVENTION CONVENTION!

The Fair starts on Tuesday February 5th, when students can bring their displays to the Ormondale MUR just before school.

Ormondale's Science Night will be held on Thursday the 7th from 6pm-7:00 pm. It's a time when families can come to view the displays, and hear what our resident Scientists and Inventors have been up to! Please plan to come a little early and have dinner, as there will be food trucks Gabe's Burgers and Mister-Softee NorCal (soft frozen ice cream) on the black top serving one hour before the event.

Interested in volunteering at the Science Fair?? We are looking for volunteers to write Commentary Notes on the Science Fair Boards, and with the Make it and Take it event which will be held on Tuesday the 5th at 1:30pm. Make it and Take it event is a special session for students who need a little more support to create a Science Fair display so they can participate in the event. Please contact Mrs. Rusch ([email protected]) for more details.

Please plan to pick up projects 7:00 at the end of the Science Fair Night.

PALO ALTO BABE RUTH BASEBALL PREP SEASON REGISTRATION OPEN!

Palo Alto Babe Ruth Baseball invites you to register for our upcoming 2019 Prep Season. There are no tryouts or cuts, so every player who registers is guaranteed a spot to play in this season which runs from March to May. Our Prep Season is a developmental league designed to help younger players develop their skills on the full-sized diamond and prepare players for our 15U Season. It includes two weeks of preseason clinic-style practices, a player draft, and an eight week season featuring one practice and two games per week for each team culminating in a fun City Championship Tournament. The league features minimum playing time rules to allow all players a chance to play in each game.

The Prep League is open to all 7th and 8th graders, as well as any high school student not on a high school baseball roster. Full refunds are issued if a player makes his/her high school team and is unable to play Prep, so there is no risk in registering. Registration closes Feb 15, but $400 early-bird pricing ends Jan 1For more information, visit our website at www.pababeruth.org or contact Chris Lillios at [email protected].
