The Whole Child, Inc. - COVID 19 Update Dear TWC Family, We have been monitoring the news regarding the COVID-19 closely and wanted to update you on our procedures already in place and further precautions we will initiate effective immediately. Procedures already in place All rooms have cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer. All group rooms are cleaned at the end of group sessions. The common areas are cleaned 2 times per week. Our social skills curriculum includes hygiene prompts (sneeze into elbow, personal space, keeping hands off of face, etc.) Additional precautions All visitors will be asked to wash their hands upon arrival. Everyone should use the sink in the Community Room. This includes clients, parents, siblings and providers. A handwashing visual tool will be posted above the sink for reference. If you would like copies for home, please let us know. Anyone exhibiting flu-like symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sneezing, body aches, chills, and/or fever should not attend services or accompany a client to TWC. As a reminder, clients & their family members should not attend any service until they are fever-free for 24 hours, without the aid of fever reducers. Anyone who has traveled outside the US will not be allowed to return to services/group for 14 days after return. Snack time during groups will be discontinued. We will continue to have water available if needed but will discontinue the use of our reusable cups. You may send in a labeled water bottle if you prefer. “High Touch” areas in the building will be cleaned daily. This includes doorknobs, light switches, handrails, tables and chairs, and both bathrooms. In the Community Room all books & toys will be removed.
