Below you'll find notes to read before your first day of class so that you're prepared. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions! When Is the First Day of Class? Is this Your First Class at Bella Ballerina? We get the question - what do I wear? - a lot! We aren't out to make your life with a little one harder so there's no requirements for hair in buns, certain colors of attire, or something that's impossible to find! We just require any leotard and tights as well as appropriate shoes (ballet and tap which we sell in our stores for convenience!). We have lots of fun other apparel such as tutus, skirts, and sweaters to choose from too! Make sure you have the appropriate shoes - BALLET & TAP - please feel free to stop in a few minutes before your lesson to try on and buy shoes. If you don't have tap shoes at the first class, please bring sneakers for tap and socks for ballet/jazz so we're still protecting our little piggies! Thank you in advance!) If you think you're going to be absent for a vacation you have planned, or if your child is sick, there's no need to call. (We know you have enough going on!) You will have a make up class in place of that absence, and can complete makeups for missed classes up to 4 times each session. Please note that makeup spaces are limited, so please only miss class if absolutely necessary. If this is your child's first class at a new dance school, we recommend that you arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of class so we can show you around and they can get changed into their shoes!
