2018-2019 Season

WELCOME BACK!

 We are excited to announce that Ray Barnes will be filling Coach Gordon's spot as one of the Frosh Coaches.  Coach Ray has an impressive resume.  He played college basketball and played professionally for five years overseas.  In addition, he was an assistant varsity coach at Crenshaw High School and served as the head varsity coach at Port of Los Angeles.  He brings a wealth of experience to the program and has worked with many of the boys as the coach for Manhattan Beach Middle School.  Welcome Coach Ray!   We are also pleased to announce that Coach Gordon will now be coaching the junior varsity team.  

Scheduling Notes 
  • JV and Varsity will lift together through 9/12 at Afterburn.
  • Varsity and JV Fall League at St. Anthony in Long Beach starts Wednesday night, 9/19.
  • Varsity Fall League at St. Bernard starts Saturday, 9/8.
  • PHYSICAL FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN IMMEDIATELY.  PLAYERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY IN THE FALL LEAGUE IF THEY HAVE NOT HAD A PHYSICAL.  FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE OFFICE BY SEPTEMBER 4TH.

Gym Construction

The gym construction could come sooner than we think.  There is a possibility we may be out of our gym before our season starts.  This will create a financial strain on the program for many reasons.  These reasons make participating in the ASK and Booster Donor Programs EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THIS YEAR.  Please be involved in fundraising and donation efforts for our program.  We need your help.  Thank you for your support.
