Evelyn joined Miss Emily's Ballet 1 class mid-year after being inspired by Allegro's holiday production of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe . She is a 5 Star student and works extremely hard in every class. She even joined our 8th annual production of Rochester Ensemble of Dance (R.E.D.) and has stepped up to become a leader for the younger dancers in her R.E.D. piece. Explore your options! Senior Spotlight: Olivia H. Olivia has danced at Allegro for seven years, with a focus on ballet. Her favorite production was The Nutcracker, and her favorite Allegro memories are centered on performing: waiting nervously backstage with her friends before stepping onstage and then being ecstatic when they all performed their very best! After graduation Olivia plans to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth to pursue a degree in social work. She said her experiences at Allegro have given her confidence and self-motivation while also allowing her to reach out to people beyond her school community. Olivia also has artistic pursuits outside the world of dance; she has been a pianist since third grade. Congratulations, Olivia! Congratulations to Saturday Ballet 1, Allegro's Class of the Month! Saturday mornings burst with cheerful energy in Miss Laura's Ballet 1 class. This is a fun group of students who are ready to work hard every week. They are doing a great job picking up complex patterns in their choreography and are always up for a challenge. At the beginning of the year some of the dancers struggled with showing up on time for class, but now they are all doing their very best to be on time and receive all 5 of their Star Student points each week.
