Preschool Playdate: Love in Any Language

Tuesday, February 14

Join us at the National Museum of the Marine Corps for our Preschool Playdate: Love in Any Language.

We will celebrate Valentine’s Day and Black History Month.

Children ages 5 and under are invited to learn about the Montford Point Marines and how their love and dedication to our country helped lead them to mission success.

This no-cost, in-person event will feature a Valentine's Day sing-along, story time and hands-on activities that will teach participants how to say “I love you” in various languages.

This event is free and open to the public.

NMMC Commemorates

the Battle of Iwo Jima

with Flag Display

 The National Museum of the Marine Corps will commemorate the Battle of Iwo Jima with an exhibit of both flags raised on Mount Suribachi.

Visitors can view the flags in the Museum’s World War II Gallery from February 16 through March 30, 2023.
