Ridgewood Crew Fees

2nd Fee Installment is now past due

If you have not paid your second fee installment for the spring season, please do so immediately. Drop off to Jeff Johnson (325 Mastin Pl) or Ann Hida (373 Shelbourne Ter). The 3rd and final fee installment is due on March 15. Please note if the spring fees are not paid the rower will not be able to row in regattas.

2019 Water Practice Schedule

Spring boat rigging and preparation is scheduled for March 9 at 9am (PRRA). All HS Team rowers must attend the spring boat prep. There will be practice on Sunday, March 10 (time tbd) assuming there is no bad weather. Note there has been a change to the spring HS Team water practice schedule. The times and locations for the Tuesday and Thursday practices have changed. Please see revised schedule attached. InstaTeam has been updated.

Development Team Water Practice

Anyone interested in signing up for the Development Team water practice please fill out the attached sign up form and submit to Ann Hida (373 Shelbourne Ter) with a $500 check made out to Ridgewood Crew. The Development Team will begin practice at PRRA on Saturday, March 16 and practices will be every Saturday and Sunday 2pm - 4pm.

Reminder

Mandatory Parent meeting about Regattas on March 14, 7:30 RHS campus center. We will be going over important information regarding the spring regattas. 

2019 Season Cocktail Party

Parents and Seniors

Please join us in kicking off the spring season at the home of Alejandro and Elisa Rivero for our 2019 Season cocktail party on Saturday, March 16 at 7:30pm. The Rivero's live at 349 Meadowbrook Ave. No need to write a check, bring anything, help in anyway; just come ready to have a great night meeting your fellow rowing parents for a night of good cheer!

Crew Banquet will be Wednesday May 29, 6-9pm ​at The Brick House.  More information to follow.

The crew apparel store will be opening soon. Stay tuned for the official announcement!

Heart Rate Monitors

If you are interested in buying a Polar H10 heart rate monitor, please get in touch with Judy Wong (via Instateam or text) as soon as possible. The cost for each is approximately $56. Orders will be placed once we have 10.

Chuck Wagon Drivers Needed

Regatta season is almost here and we are looking for drivers to haul our chuck wagon to and fro the regattas. If you have an SUV equipped with trailer hitch, please contact Judy Wong [(415) 717 1042 or [email protected]].  If you would like to help but have questions, Judy would gladly assist!

Sign-ups for the food-tent teams are up on Instateam.

We require 7 volunteers to signup per each regatta. One member per family can sign up (even if you both plan to help).  Currently we have 20 open spots.  Every family must participate. 

Full participation is expected and once signups are closed you are responsible for finding your own replacement should you need to reschedule. 

Please log-in to Instateam to sign up --> select a regatta --->  select the icon "signup".

A training session will be scheduled soon and attached are basic responsibilities for the tent team.

Dear Rowers,

Welcome to the Ridgewood Crew team family!  We are looking forward to an amazing 2019 season.

Please find below a copy of the letters and forms you will need to fundraise for the Row-A-Thon on March 23rd.  This is our biggest and most important fundraiser so it is vital for all rowers to be proactive in their fundraising efforts. Please do not wait until the last minute to begin fundraising; take advantage of the upcoming Sundays that you will be free from practice. (Feb. 3, Feb. 10, Feb. 24 & March 3rd.) and remember the deadlines: 

* For Corporate Sponsor Logos and Artwork, the deadline is March 15th. Please submit Logos/Artwork in pdf format to: ridgewoodcrewfundraising@gmail.com

* For Individual & Corporate Monies, submit before or by the day of the event, March 23rd.  All checks should be payable to: Ridgewood Crew and delivered to Mrs. Carmona at 898 Hillcrest Rd., Ridgewood NJ 07450.  

If you decide to walk around your neighborhood, please read the Recommendation for the Rowers letter first.
