Happy 2025!

I'm writing first of all to thank you for two-n-a-half decades of kindness and support! I'm heartwarmed by the good vibes, stomach butterflies, and great jamming going on out there in the TreeHouse world. Always feel free to reach out to me if you see things that need improved or have questions.

At this time, I'm going to stick with 2024 pricing as long as possible. Pricing for things creep up, but a few bux more here-n-there for incoming shipping or a low-demand part isn't enough to warrant a full-blown new price list. However, TreeHouse like MANY other professional drum manufacturers are facing an issue you might not have heard about, that of chrome.

I don't know the reasons, but the reality is that there have been astronomical increases in manufacturing defects and returned/refused metal bits over the last year from the foundries that make the hoops/spurs/strainers/vents/claws/tension rods/etc. that we all use. Some companies' response has been to inexplicably increase backorders and customers' wait time, some companies are sitting strong on lots of pre-problematic hardware, some companies are starting to talk about it to the public, some companies increased prices and are hoping the issue is cured soon.

At TreeHouse, I use one of the best, oldest and most respected foundries in Taiwan (who makes parts for many, many name brands in the American market whose names I won't list) and haven't seen these issues at all in my most recent shipment...as well I have stockpiles of most parts that'll last for many more builds. I'll keep trucking along as normal for as long as possible, but if shortages from the standard suppliers show up, I'll need to add some surcharges for some new orders in order to source A-level components. Currently ready-to-ship and most normal new orders won't be affected.

Rest assured that everything in stock is fine, carries the same 5-year warranty as always -- I'll make sure that that continues!
