recent landscape paintings by Karen Kitchel
This work re-frames traditional landscape imagery. Mischieviously beautiful, the paintings are made of asphalt emulsion, tar, wax, shellac, and powdered mineral pigments on canvas. They are dirty, seductive, and imperfect.
ARTIST'S GALLERY TALK - Karen Kitchel Thursday, January 24 6 pm $5 / members free
Reservations appreciated 805-385-8254 or [email protected]
