Summer 2018 Newsletter

Life on the farm has been busy this year.  Babies are always a joy, although they can often be a challenge.  I'm going to start utilizing the blog section on my website to share stories from the farm with you.  I'm in the process of adding past stories and images.  Some of my friends tend to think I'm kinda funny.  Others find farm life interesting and entertaining.  I'll let you decide for yourself.

My art fair show season is fast approaching!  I can't believe how the summer is fling by.  Between farm chores I am creating new work, and preparing for my upcoming shows.  As always, I have my work in several galleries and online so you can find my images and cards year round.

You can find details and links on my website to the galleries/shops that feature my work, as well as details about my upcoming shows.

Last year I started a new photo project focusing on Heritage Breeds of livestock and poultry that are in danger of extinction.  I'm visiting Missouri farmers raising rare breeds of farm animals.  So you may have noticed a shift in my photography, but my older images are still available on my website.  I'm super excited about this photo project and am love it more and more everyday.  The people I have met and the animals I have photographed speak to the core of what makes me who I am.  My goal is to bring awareness so farm animals like the Arapawa nanny goat and her kid are around for generations, and generations, and generations to come. It is my pleasure to share these images with you.

This is my first time to do a project like this, the support and encouragement has been heartwarming and motivating.  I am still in the process of learning the ropes, and putting together a book will be no easy task.  Truthfully, I couldn't do it without you...so Thank You.
