Founders Day - Our PVSD Honorary Service Award Celebration
Founders Day is our biennial event that celebrates outstanding volunteers in our district that will be graduating out this year or next year. This past Tuesday we gathered at Town Center and honored 10 PVSD volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to the school district.
In addition to all of the usual volunteering including Home Room Parenting, PowerBuilders, hot lunch duty and more, they have also taken leadership roles in the PTO and PV Schools Foundation to help make the magic happen. This group consists of individuals that have collectively served as dozens of PTO event chairpeople, 4 terms of PTO Presidents, 3 school board members, 5+ years of Foundation Gala/Auction chairs, 3 Foundation presidents, 3 Foundation Annual Campaign chairs, 7+ years of PVSF Controller, and the list could keep going!
Thank you to all that attended, presented, and celebrated. It was a great privilege to honor this group of outstanding individuals who have dedicated so much time for our schools and community.
