Hello and happy November! I trust everyone had a good Halloween, and you're all headed full-steam ahead into the holiday season. I'm not sure I'm ready, but here we go!

I've been doing a lot of work this month with defining what I want in my life and then creating it. My goal has been to trust my feelings and cultivate sensations of joy as a guide to my personal truth, and that focus has been present in my blogs, social media posts, and columns. It's been rewarding, and I have noticed profound changes in the short period it's been my focus.

As the hours of daylight grow shorter and winter weather sets in, I'd like to remind you of the gifts that come with darkness. The winter months give us more time to reflect and care deeply for ourselves. Why not use the time to take up a new self-care practice? Try meditating, practice mudras, set some new intentions, start a gratitude journal, or have a relaxing nightly bath with scented bath salts. Caring for yourself in this way can foster your connection with your Divine self and create a more joyful existence.

Thanks to everyone who came and saw me at the Port Gamble Ghost Conference or took my Vibrational Healing class last month. I enjoyed the opportunity to get to spend some time with you. I hope you have a wonderful November filled with love, joy, and gratitude. I am grateful for all of you.

Crystal Focus: Citrine

Citrine is the November birthstone. It's also a crystal that supports your third chakra and is a stone of manifestation. Properties of citrine include:

  • Promotes prosperity and abundance
  • Strengthens self-esteem
  • Increases happiness
  • Supports success

Hint: Wear citrine on your receiving hand, which is your non-dominant hand, to promote prosperity and success. You can also place a piece in the prosperity corner of your home, which is the back left corner from your front door facing in.

Blog Inspiration

Dream Symbol: Cars

Cars and other vehicles represent traveling your path in life. What's important is who is driving the car, where it's going, and how well you are able to control the vehicle.

  • If someone else is driving, you may feel you are not in control.
  • If you are crashing the car, you may feel as if you are headed for a crash or a fall.
  • If you encounter roadblocks, you may feel something is in the way of moving forward.
  • If you have trouble steering or controlling the speed, you may feel out of control in your life right now.
