Welcome to our 2022 / 2023 Season

We are excited to welcome you back to the court very soon. Our first drop in session for our 18+ group will start on this Sunday, 11th September, evening 7:00 PM at Takhini Elementary, we hope to see you there.

Also happening this weekend on Sunday, 11th September is our annual Arctic Winter Games Tryout for the U20 Group at EET. If you want to participate please make sure to register on our website until Friday.

The weekend after this upcoming we will have our U17 tryouts for the Arctic Winter Games and our first session at our affiliate club at Golden Horn.

Speaking of website, we are happy to announce that our brand new website is finally online. We try to include as many information as possible for each group and will keep you up to date with our news section. Visit the website at www.yukonbadminton.ca.

Lastly, as there have been many requests about this, our U13 group will return, but unfortunately we havent finalized our planning on this yet. With the arctic winter games team taking up a lot of our trainer resources, we are currently looking for help in this area. However, we are planning to have at least 3-6 sessions in October/November specifically for U13 for 2022. More information on this will follow as soon as possible.

We hope you all had a great summer and we are looking forward to see you again very very soon,

Your YBA Team

More payment options available

Starting this season we will be offering for the first time in YBA history additional payment options besides cash payments for our membership and tournament fees.

At Takhini Elementary, as well at our Tournaments and special events, we will have a card reader available and you can pay with any major credit card now. Cash and Interac payments will be offered at no additional processing fee, however since credit card payments cost us a high transaction fee, plus additional cost, we will be charging an additional CAD 4 on all credit card / apple pay / google pay payments to cover these cost.

You will also be able to purchase memberships online on our website. The same additional transaction fee is applied here.
Online purchases will go live this friday.
