Sine Die 2017 - On Wednesday, May 10th at 7:00 pm, the fifty-third regular session of the Arizona Legislature came to an end when the Legislature adjourned. Assuming no special sessions are called this year, adjournment means that the Legislature will now be out of session until next year. Look in next week's Legislative Update for a full recap of this year's Cannabis industry wins and losses.
Before adjournment, the industrial hemp bill, SB1337 was passed out of the Legislature and sent to Governor Ducey. Governor Ducey now has ten days to either sign the bill into law, veto it or let it pass into law without his signature.
