Chilliwack Mane Event

Another show has come and gone! It was amazing to catch up with everyone who stopped by and we met a whole lot of new faces! Registration kick off for the 2020 course year was a success and it was our first year presenting our online course in Chilliwack! I also had the opportunity to meet with someone in person who had a profound impact on my trip. Early this past spring I had a phone call from a lady on Vancouver Island that was having trouble with her horse. She was prepared to load up and trailer 5 hours and a ferry ride to the school, but after reviewing her horses x-rays and hoof photos via email, I didn't think this was necessary. Instead I talked her through some options and recommended she contact one of my students local to her to help trim the horse. For me it was just a phone call and a few minutes reviewing an email and I hadn't thought much about it since. Then at Mane Event this same lady stopped by the booth and through tears told me how I had literally changed her life and saved her horse! It was very emotional for me too as this is really my life's mission, to help as many horse's as possible. But for my reach to be just that profound and life changing for this woman and her horse really made my day, after all it really only took me 5 minutes to help them. I also had a visit from a past student who has a similar story. She called me one night desperate for help when I was at equine dental school in Florida. We discussed her severely foundered horse and I reviewed her horse's photos and x-rays via email and together with a student local to her and with herself taking my 6 day course she was able to save her horse and change his life. Her visit brought more tears and more joy to my heart. I just can't thank my friends, followers and students enough for allowing me to fulfill my dreams and help so many horses! To everyone in Chilliwack we will see you again next year!

6 Day Barefoot trimming course

Our last trimming course of the year has wrapped up! It was a busy year, we ran 5 courses this year and met new students from all over Canada and the US! It is always fun to meet new people and understand peoples reasons for coming here. Most just want to learn to trim their own horses, and some want to trim professionally. Tailoring the course to each students specific needs and helping them get started on their journey is so much fun! Our 2020 schedule is on the website here, register early if you are hoping to join us for the first time and for previous students if you are interested in coming back please contact me as spaces for returning students (at no cost) are limited and are on a first come first serve basis.
