New Members Networking Event 29/5/2017

In the beautiful surrounds of the Raheen House Hotel, County Tipperary Chamber had a new Member networking meet on Monday the 29th of May.
Following light refreshments and networking, new members were presented with their Membership Certificates.
We then had an very engaging hour where new members introduced themselves, spoke about their business journey and conveyed to the gathering their reasons for joining County Tipperary Chamber.
A most engaging and informative evening indeed!

All acts must go to the Clonmel Tourist Office on the day for 1pm to be assigned a location.
Senior Band registration: €10
Senior Solo Artist registration: €5
Junior Category registration: Free

The Enterprise Ireland Regional Enterprise Development Fund (REDF) Launched 29th May 2017

The Enterprise Ireland Regional Enterprise Development Fund (REDF)  was formally launched on 29th May 2017 by the Minister Mitchell O’Connor.
The call is now open and full details of the scheme are available on the Enterprise Ireland Website:

The closing date for receipt of Feasibility applications is 3pm on Friday 9th June 2017.  
The call closing dates for the other funding streams is 18th August 2017 (1st Call) and 2nd March 2018 (2nd Call).

Announcement of Brexit Supports for Small Business Welcome

Chambers Ireland Tuesday 30th May 2017 welcomed the announcement by Minister for State Pat Breen of a range of supports and funding available through LEO offices to assist small and micro businesses in preparing for Brexit.

Commenting on the announcement, Ian Talbot, Chief Executive of Chambers Ireland said, “It is important that all businesses across Ireland consider the challenges arising from Brexit and make preparations where possible. The range of supports now available from Local Enterprise Offices offer small and micro businesses the opportunity to prepare for Brexit and to avail of programmes and funding to address the many potential challenges. We urge small and micro businesses across Ireland to access the Brexit SME scorecard, self diagnose their readiness and avail of the new LEO resources to plan for doing business post-Brexit.”

“Look further, think bigger, be ambitious” Bizfest 2017 launched at the National Opera House, Wexford

Bizfest is a free networking event aimed at helping Irish companies to develop their networks and expand their business. “Look further, think bigger, be ambitious” is the theme of this year’s event which takes place on the 21st of June at the National Opera House, Wexford.
Now in its 4th year, Bizfest 2017 will be hosted by the south-east region Local Enterprise Office’s and Enterprise Ireland. The event is sponsored by Bank of Ireland.

Bizfest aims to provide an opportunity for owners, managers and their key staff across Ireland to make connections while immersing themselves in the experience, entrepreneurial spirit and stories of entrepreneurs.
