Hello Again, Romantics , there are so many things to share about this summer! First, Christmas in July! We didn’t want to wait for the holiday season to publish Christmas Comeback . We love Diana, Henry, and the Garland Grove gang so much that we wanted to share their story with you. So far, it has been a hit with our readers. Thank you to all who left reviews. If you haven't grabbed your copy, you can click below to get it right now. If you missed our July Facebook Live event, you also missed the news that we are branching out. We have MERCH! I've been searching for the perfect gifts that I think you'll love, like this Christmas ornament and Robin Paul mug. Both are made of high quality material. The mug is nice and heavy and keeps my cappaccino warm all morning long! And... in response to your requests, we now have signed copies of all our books! They make wonderful holiday or birthday gifts AND turn your friends on to our love stories. Just click on any of the images above to go to our merch store! Our Pick of Pix - The Gang's All Here! The next big news: Alison, our youngest daughter, got married this summer! AND we had the entire family together! That's no small feat these days. The evening also had a big surprise for the guests. Everyone thought that Alison and Ryan were getting married in Greece, so the gathering was more like an engagement party. EXCEPT, an hour into the party, our beautiful girl emerged in a gorgeous gown! It was really something to behold. No bridesmaids, no flower girls, no groomsmen – just the two of them and the officiant standing before so many people who love them, reciting the vows they had written to one another. Is that not the most romantic thing you have ever heard? My Mama's Birthday Cake Lemons are everywhere in Florida, and my birthday is coming up in September, so I thought this would be a great time to share the recipe for the birthday cake made by my mother every year of my life until she passed in 2005. Oh, how I miss her and that cake! Cake Ingredients: 1 box lemon cake mix ½ cup cooking oil 4 eggs, beaten thoroughly 1 cup + 2 tsp. water I pkg. instant lemon Jello pudding Icing Ingredients: 1 6oz can frozen lemonade concentrate 2 cups powdered sugar. Directions: Mix all cake ingredients and bake in a greased and floured pan at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Once removed from the oven, poke holes in top of cake (my mom used a pencil). Beat together the icing ingredients (lemonade concentrate and powdered sugar). Pour icing over warm cake. Hey from Lucy! We've been away from home much of the past few months. Lucy was with us a lot of the time, but stayed with friends for a few weeks. She's happiest when she can wake up in her own bed (ours!), stretch out on the lanai, work on her tan, and see her doggie neighbors. Did You Miss Anything...? Perhaps our previous newsletters? There's some great stuff there. Want to be one of the cool kids who follow us on Facebook? We post lots of pics of our comings and goings. Do you have questions for us? Send them here. And of course, you can find our books here . That's all for now. See you soon! Love, Robin |
