They are the dried berry of the Sapindus Mukorrosi tree that is native in Nepal and has been used for centuries as a soap. We have been using soap nuts for almost a year in our house--with a little lemon and peppermint essential oils--and our clothes have never been more clean or fresh. Now we don't expect you to get out your metal washboard or anything (you can...no judgement), but Paper Plane's Laundry Bar is great for spot cleaning and pesky stain removal. Plus, it smells awesome. ALL NATURAL DISHWASHING NEEDS Just like their conditioner bars, ATTITUDE dishwasher tablets are free of phosphates/chemicals and are EWG Certified. ZERO WASTE MVMT sponge dish cloths and dish bars last an incredibly long time. I think we've had the same bar of soap at our kitchen sink for six months, and only half of it has been used!
