Pre-Winter Training starts Tomorrow

Please bring liability waiver (below) and payment to first practice.

Pre-Winter Training - starts Monday, Nov. 13
  • Times have been approved for pre-winter training! For those of you participating, training will be offered Monday through Friday, 5:30 to 7:30. There is no sign up for the training, and you may train 3, 4 or 5 days a week, your choice. Workouts will consist of ERG training, weight-lifting, and cardio conditioning at the high school. 
  • Training is not mandatory, but highly recommended for rowers who are not involved in a winter sport and trying out for the team in January.  
  • Please bring a check made out to Ridgewood Crew for $300, and the liability waiver required - attached below. If you cannot make it on Monday please drop off a check to our treasurer Jim Gibson at 441 Spring Avenue. 

8th Grade Training - starts Monday, Nov. 13
  • 8th grade training will held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:30 - 5:30. Please bring a check made out to Ridgewood Crew for $200 on the first day of training along with the liability waiver - attached below. If you cannot make it on Monday please drop off a check to our treasurer Jim Gibson at 441 Spring Avenue. 

Payment Option

Parents may pay fees via the PayPal link on the bottom of the home page of ridgewoodcrew.com. You will need to add 5% to the fee ($15 for HS rowers or $10 for 8th graders) if you choose to pay with a credit card.

Winter Boat Storage 

 If you know of a place (i.e., warehouse to fit the boat trailer) that RC can store the boats for the winter please email/call Joe O'Keefe at [email protected] or 201-486-6184. Storage is needed immediately. 

Team Try-Outs

January 6 & 7, 2018: tryouts for rowers participating in a winter sport; time – tbd

January 8 & 9, 2018: tryouts for rowers not participating in a winter sport; 5:30 – 7:30pm
