The Apparel Committee will be selling Long and Short Sleeve Tees this weekend at the parent tent.  This will be in addition to the Ridgewood Crew Visors and Bucket Hats.  Supplies are limited.

PARENT TENT:  Please consider donating a few hours and/or food items for the team. All help is appreciated, and many hands make light work. WEATHER:

FRIDAY: The heat eases a bit but it's still hot, with partly sunny skies and a high of 90. We could get a pop-up afternoon or evening pop-up shower or thunderstorm as a cold front slides through.
In case of rain on Friday afternoon, please have rowers pack accordingly.​


SATURDAY: Behind Friday night's cold front, highs drop to more seasonable levels. Look for a nice start to the weekend with partly sunny skies and a much cooler high around 72.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Rowers should arrive at the Graydon parking lot on Thursday, May 18th by 3:45 PM for a 4:00 PM departure to the hotel in Philadelphia.
  • All rowers should bring a brown bag dinner to be eaten on the bus with a refillable water bottle.
  • The rowers (plus chaperones & coaches) will be staying at the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District Hotel, 400 Arch Street, Philadelphia, 215-923-8660, on Thursday & Friday, May 18th & 19th.
  • There will be an 8:30 PM meeting for all rowers (no parents!) on Thursday night in a conference room (TBD) in the Wyndham hotel.  Each rower/boat will be advised of their “driver” and the time they will be departing the hotel on Friday AM!
  • The rowers will be shuttled to/from the river on both Friday & Saturday by the chaperones, based upon race time.  
  • There will be a grab/go breakfast for the early racers at the hotel . . yogurt, bagels, granola bars.  Later racers will have the breakfast buffet at the hotel. Breakfast and lunch will be served at the parent tent both days.  A Friday night dinner will be held at the hotel for the rowers and the coaches – rowers typically get a little dressed up for this dinner.
  • Our parent tent is number 34.  Numbers start at 1 near the starting line and increase as you go further down the course towards the finish line.
  • Parents - if you’re good with a camera, we need an individual picture of each senior!  Please let me know if you can help out!
