I: Although this is an American guideline, I'm adding fuel to the fire of the tipping discourse. On 99% of transactions I will tip due to the services I receive, but I feel a certain type of way seeing the tip screen for something that involved no preparation. It's an inherent guilt if I leave nothing, but also a shame leaving anything less than 15% for something that was as simple as pouring drip coffee into a cup.
